Shah K. M. Law College, Valsad, organised the Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme 2026 on 25th August 2026 at the Multi Media Hall, under the joint initiative of the Anti-Ragging Committee, Anti-Ragging Squad and IQAC.
The programme was graced by Dr. Rajeshri Tandel, I/C District Education Officer, Valsad, as the Chief Guest. PSI Mr. A.B. Gohil shared valuable insights on the legal consequences of ragging and encouraged students to report incidents without fear. Ms. Dishaben Desai, Media Representative, highlighted the importance of public awareness and responsible reporting for ensuring student safety.
The programme focused on sensitising students about the harmful effects and legal implications of ragging while promoting a safe, respectful, inclusive and welcoming campus environment.
Faculty members, students and members of the Anti-Ragging Squad actively participated in the programme. The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold a ragging-free campus and foster a culture of mutual respect, dignity and friendship.
