Shah K. M. Law College, Valsad, organised a GST (Goods and Services Tax) Awareness Session on 1 July 2026 to enhance students' understanding of India's indirect taxation system. The session was conducted by Adv. Alpesh P. Upadhyay, Advocate, High Court of Gujarat, and Tax Consultant, who explained the legal framework, structure, compliance requirements, and practical aspects of GST. Students of LL.B. and LL.M. actively participated in the interactive session and gained valuable insights into GST registration, return filing, and Input Tax Credit (ITC). The programme successfully strengthened the participants' practical and legal knowledge of GST and its relevance to professional practice.
